The leading Dutch shipyard, ICON Yachts, has introduced its latest 95-metre mega yacht SELAZZIO 95 SEA PALACE concept, developed in partnership with the Austrian yacht design studio Motion Code: Blue, at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show. With the all-new superyacht SELAZZIO 95 SEA PALACE concept, the company is taking yacht design and construction to a whole new level.
Luxury yacht SELAZZIO 95 is a based on existing 95m hull platform of ICON Yachts, but with its stunning beam of 22m it sets clearly new standards in terms of sense of space.
Following the trend of explorer yachts with ample outdoor deck spaces, ICON and Motion Code: Blue, worked closely together to develop a modern explorer yacht. Far from the typical-looking explorer yacht, Selazzio falls into this category not for any traditional explorer-yacht styling but for her planned long range. The eye-catching design features an entirely open, large aft deck and fittingly expansive beach club.
The wide and elegant interior design featuring columns and spherical shapes is highly inspired by representative architecture and palaces.
The name SELAZZIO enhances the combination of low speed and architectural and organically shaped exterior design since it is a combination of SEA and PALAZZO, the Italian term for palace.
