In late 2016, Icon Yachts unveiled the new superyacht concept “The Gotham Project” that caught the attention of many with her impressive Batman-like exterior design. As the project is now under construction at Icon Yachts, the shipbuilder has revealed further information, this time, specifically on the interior design.
The new 46-metre aluminium superyacht was designed by ER Yacht Design in collaboration with Ivan Erdevicki, who also developed the interior spaces design and layout. Naval architecture of the Project Gotham is a work of Icon Yachts and Van Oossanen Naval Architects.
As for the interior decor, the first renderings unveiled illustrate some opulent materials, luxurious fabrics and some dark wood and onyx tones contrasting with crisp beige and white colours.
The team of outstanding designers and naval architects aim to deliver outstanding performance that would match the striking looks of the Gotham Project. With a pair of 2000hp MTU engines, this superyacht will be able to reach a top speed of 26 knots.
The Gotham Project will provide accommodation for ten guests, assisted by a crew of 10. Accommodation layout will be based on five guest cabins and five crew cabins. Not only the new yacht will stand out with her aggressive design and seaworthiness, but she will also provide a welcoming atmosphere on board and a large number of luxury amenities: custom glass wine cellar, gymnasium and symmetrical entertainment areas.
The Gotham Project is scheduled for delivery in Spring 2019.
