ICON Yachts have transformed their first build, motor yacht ICON, into 68 metres of pure luxury. In only six months, the prominent Dutch shipyard has carried out a five-meter transom extension of mega yacht ICON. She is currently on her way to the glamorous Mediterranean yacht charter location – Monaco to attend the 2014 Monaco Yacht Show.

The most striking external addition is a spectacular five-meter infinity swimming pool but also sees the addition of a large Hamam six person sauna, expanded gym, showers and a dive store.
The interior has also seen significant upgrades. The upper salon is now completely open plan with state-of-the-art hidden TVs allowing maximum flexibility and a full beam experience. The main deck salon received a cinema installation and the central staircases have been refinished in brighter colours with softer materials.
Major technical upgrades have also been performed including new Scania generator sets with dedicated sound shielding and an upgrade to the bow thruster befitting the extension of the hull.
To complete the re-birth of this iconic yacht, her exterior received a complete new paint finish in the well known Alexseal application.
With M/Y ICON on her way to Monaco, her new owner is set to enjoy the post Monaco Show season on his new yacht and she is then set to depart for the Caribbean to enjoy the winter season.
