The iconic Italian shipyard Riva, builder of many beautiful luxury yacht tenders but also extraordinary superyachts both for private use or yacht charter, celebrated its prestigious history at the Venice Film Festival on the 4th of September with the short ‘Riva – In the Movie’ starring world-renowned Italian actor, Pierfrancesco Favino.
The short is completely filmed in Venice at the memorable locations of Piazza San Marco, Rialto Bridge, the Lido and the Palazzo del Cinema, and showcases stills from films such as 1954’s Mambo that feature the elegant tenders that the shipyard was originally known for. More recently, its superyachts have starred in films La Grande Bellezza (2013) and MIB International (2019), and luxury yacht charter guests can experience their elegance and power for themselves in various yachting locations around the world, throughout the New Year.
As ‘Riva – In the Movie’ honours the past, these luxury charter yachts showcase the Italian brand’s present – and future to come.
