Oceanco 88.5m/290.35ft superyacht Barbara was known for a long time as Project Y715, and she was one of the highly confidential superyachts at the shipyard. Launched in October 2016, this superyacht successfully completed her sea trials and was just recently delivered to her owner.
The new name of the superyacht has been publicised, and mega yacht Barbara is now on her way to Falmouth, the UK. A day ago she was spotted at the Port of Gibraltar next to the other popular yacht – sailing yacht A.
Barbara was designed by Sam Sorgiovanni, who worked with Oceanco on superyachts Anastasia and Nirvana. Many can recognise some similarities in the design of these vessels.
The superyacht features a steel hull and aluminium superstructure and has an internal volume of approximately 2,950 GT. She has a beam of 14.2m and a draft of 3.9m. This massive mega yacht is likely to accommodate 12 guests, assisted by around 27 crew members.
Much information on this superyacht remains unknown. We will be bringing you more details, as information becomes available. Meanwhile, you can find out more, as well as view more photos of Oceanco 88.5m Barbara here.
