The International SeaKeepers Society will play a host to its inaugural Barcelona Yacht Rendezvous to celebrate DISCOVERY Yachts at the five-star Marina Port Vell, positioned in the center of Barcelona, a glamorous Spain yacht vacation destination and one of the most vibrant and exciting cities in Europe. The Rendezvous will take place on May 8, 2015 during the weekend of the exhilarating Spanish Formula One Grand Prix.
SeaKeepers will host a dinner for a select group of the yachting community at Marina Port Vell May 8th 2015, where guests will be offered a 50% reduced dockage fee and a suggested itinerary of experiences, including the Spanish Formula One Grand Prix. During the event the DISCOVERY Yachts Program will be introduced and SeaKeepers will present a video highlighting the 2014 and 2015 DISCOVERY Yachts missions.
The Barcelona Yacht Rendezvous will celebrate SeaKeepers DISCOVERY Yachts expeditions, drifter deployments, and outreach programs. Barcelona will serve as a first port of call as SeaKeepers rolls out its DISCOVERY Yachts Program, which is already firmly established in North America. The Rendezvous will be the beginning of many international locations for the SeaKeepers ocean research and conservation programs.
