The winter is coming to its end in New Zealand and with the upcoming spring, Integrated Marine Group is preparing to welcome plenty of yachts keen to get some works carried out before summer cruising with their owners.
Whilst the winter months are generally much quieter for the marine sector in Auckland, the refit and paint project on the 61m motor yacht White Rabbit Echo have kept the Integrated Marine Group’s refit team working at full pace. With a month left to run on the project the final topcoats are being applied section by section and the interiors are taking shape, all nicely on target for delivery early October.
For the company’s Yacht Support Team winter is the time to spend preparing for the influx of springtime yacht arrivals to ensure they enjoy a great New Zealand summer while escaping the northern hemisphere chill. The Yacht Support team has really focused this last winter on refining its Concierge Service. More and more yacht owners and guests are insisting on some cruising time in New Zealand as part of the yachts stopover program. Integrated Marine Group felt it was high time to really make sure that the services and companies that they recommend are second to none! Providers that can respond quickly to last minute changes of plan and really understand just what is required to make an owners trip truly special.
Integrated Marine Group is also gearing up for the annual golf event. Growing in support each season, the Charitable Golf Open will take place in November this year, before the crews get too busy. It is a fantastic day for crews to socialise and enjoy a round of golf in spectacular scenery with great kiwi hospitality. Not only that it also enables companies to sign up as sponsors and get their brand in front of these newly arrived yachts at the very start of the season.
