Launched by ICON Yachts last year, the beautiful 63-metre mega yacht Meridian (ex Maidelle) has completed her first guests services voyages in the Norwegian Fjords. Luxury motor yacht Meridian has recently returned to her birthplace to undergo an extensive conversion of the Observation Lounge on the forward upper deck into a second Master Suite.
The feedback so far from her very experienced and well managed crew is unanimous; a top of the grade Dutch built superyacht with excellent sea keeping behavior, outstanding crew comfort, huge volume for length and an exquisite interior. Her new owners have given the all thumbs up.
Superyacht Meridian is managed by a quite particular captain. The captain explained that he and his crew not only sail the yacht from A to B, but also deliver his employers an extraordinary experience in every region the yacht cruises. The yacht is the hotel part of the experience, and it has proven to be a spacious, well thought out platform that interfaces exceptionally well with cruising in interesting areas and experiencing nature in pure comfort.
He reports; “Meridian is a truly well engineered yacht, from the operational view point with easy accessibility for maintenance and cleaning.”
“The interior is absolutely incredible, it is the best finished interior I have ever seen. Cohrs Elements did a very, very good job”, he explained.
The project has been meticulously planned over the last ten weeks and Cohrs Elements are well underway with the production of the final interior installations. In the true spirit of Icon Yachts all modifications and additions are pre manufactured ahead of the time installation on board is scheduled and integration into the modular construction is seamless.
Luxury yacht Meridian (ex Maidelle) will head to the Far East after the interior modifications and will be a strong ambassador of the iconic brand and what it stands for.
