International honours for the prominent UK luxury yacht manufacturer, Princess Yachts, are becoming increasingly common as well as widespread as the shipyard celebrates two more victories in the Far East.
Following her success at the 2012 Motor Boat of the Year Awards motor yacht Princess V52 has been named ‘Best Imported Large Yacht’ and joins the coveted finalist list to be named overall ‘Boat of the Year Japan 2012’. The winner will be announced at the Japan International Boat Show 2013, which takes place 7th – 17th March 2013.
Luxury yacht V52 will be on display at the show alongside the new Princess 56 and the multi-award winning Princess V39 yacht, which was named best sportscruiser up to 45ft at the 2013 Motor Boat of the Year Awards and received the AIM Media Marine Group Editor’s Choice Award 2012 for ‘Best Import Motoryacht 30-40ft’ in the US.
Rivalling the success of the V Class sport yachts are the Princess M Class superyachts. The Princess 32M (example is Antheya II superyacht) was victorious at the Hurun Report’s annual Best of the Best Awards for ‘Best Production Motor Yacht 30m Class’ in China. 2013 marked the ninth anniversary of the awards, which are the longest-running and one of the most authoritative awards for the luxury industry.
The flagship Princess 40M superyacht Imperial Princess is continuing this success having made the prestigious finalist list for the 2013 World Superyacht Awards. Dubbed the ‘Oscars of the superyacht world’, it is an incredible achievement to have reached the final stage with our first ever 40m yacht. The winner will be named at a glittering ceremony attended by international superyacht owners and some of the most influential players in the superyacht industry in May.
