ER Yacht Design has revealed its new 61m/200ft luxury sport yacht concept, ‘SHOTEL’, created as part of the ‘Gotham Project’ range, the first design of which was created as a dark and muscular motor yacht ‘Batman would drive’.
M/Y concept SHOTEL features the same bold lines as the first Gotham Project concept with a vertical bow and geometric shapes in the hull. However, the colour scheme couldn’t be more different, showcasing a silvery-white hull and bronze accents or a monochrome appearance. The waterline and superstructure have been accepted by this colour and the latter area features a change in the ‘ear-like’ antenna.
The hull and superstructure would be constructed from aluminium and carbon fibre and is created with an interior volume of 780 GT to sleep up to 14 guests across seven en-suite cabins consisting of a Master suite on the main deck forward and six double cabins on the lower deck. An upper deck sky lounge will provide an alternative indoor living space to the main salon, and a large beach club combined with the swim platform and fold-down bulwarks will provide a space to lounge beside the water.
To create the space in the beach club the 8m/26ft tender, rescue RIB and jet skis have been moved to the bow, where they are safely and securely launched using a pair of cranes.
Her engines would provide a top speed of 24 knots, a cruising speed of 18 knots and a transatlantic range of 3,800 nautical miles.
