The first Kando 110 explorer yacht has emerged from the builders shed at AvA Yachts. Beginning life as a custom superyacht project, the shipyard saw the potential to create a series with flexible interior arrangements to suit the purposes of different Owners.
Constructed with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, the 33.6m/110ft Kando 110 features naval architecture and interior and exterior styling entirely from the Turkish shipyard. Shared and private guest areas are decorated in a sophisticated combination of walnut and wenge wood types found in the wooden panelling and furnishings.
As an explorer yacht, she has Bureau Veritas unrestricted-navigation classification in addition to MCA compliance.
The 650 HP Volvo Penta diesel engines draw on a large fuel capacity of 11,888 gallons (45,000 litres) that allows for an extensive cruising range of 6,400 nautical miles at 10 knots.
The first Kando 110 is designed to sleep up to 10 guests across 5 en-suite cabins, with the Master suite situated on the main deck forward and the remaining guest cabins placed on the lower deck.
The second and third Kando 110 hulls are also under construction, the former being constructed for former NBA superstar Tony Parker and the latter available for delivery late in 2020.
