From Borzelli & Berta Architetti and Nobiskrug comes 90m/295ft luxury yacht PROJECT LEGATO, a concept based on the 90-metre hull line from the shipyard.
The musical term Legato means ‘connected’ and the motor yacht is named for the way that the interior layout effortlessly flows from one guest area to the next.
The defining feature of M/Y LEGATO is her three swimming pools, measuring 8.9m/29ft on the main deck aft, 5.7m/18.7ft inside the main deck, and a second 5.7m/18.7ft swimming pool on the Owner’s deck. Glass screens and extendable side balconies on the upper deck form an alfresco spa.
The design is inspired by Roman baths where the facilities are built around an open yard that can be used throughout the year. As a result, the glass-bottomed swimming pool on the foredeck dapples light onto the main deck interior below, and there is a fireplace and day beds for optimal use of the area regardless of the season or climate.
Each of the six en-suite cabins has a balcony and the Owner’s suite also boasts a Jacuzzi in the bathroom surrounded by retracting glass panels. The Owner’s deck can be made completely private, and to the aft there is a heli-deck for travel without needing to access any other part of the yacht.
Other design features include glass-panelled sliding doors into the beach club, a sundeck Jacuzzi surrounded by sunpads and plenty of outdoor seating for guests while cruising or for hosting special events.
Constructed with a steel hull and superstructure, M/Y LEGATO can be fitted with conventional engines or a diesel-electric hybrid motor.
