Premier Marinas is pleased to announce that it is investing £750,000 in the renewal and refurbishment of pontoons as well as services at UK‘s Brighton Marina, offering in-water berthing for over 1,200 boats measuring up to 41m in length. The work will start in March 2014, with the renewal of 50 pontoon fingers in the Outer Harbour area, with further work being phased over the following 14 months, in order to minimise the potential for disruption to berth holders.
Pontoon specialists Walcon Marine Ltd will carry out the work with around 200 pontoon fingers being installed over the period, together with marina infrastructure equipment. In conjunction with the investment in new pontoons, Premier Brighton is continuing its phased rollout of replacement electrical and lighting bollards using Sureline equipment.
The works at Brighton Marina are just part of Premier’s commitment to investing in its eight South Coast luxury yacht marinas and it is hoped that the investment will come as good news to Brighton Marina berth holders.
