The first ISA 140 motor yacht is currently under construction at International Shipyard Ancona. The ISA 140 series is ISA’s largest semi-custom superyacht of composite construction with hull and superstructure built from Fibre Reinforced Plastic (FRP). The first hull in the ISA 140 series is due to be completed and launched in 2011.

The ISA 140 motor yacht series features exterior design by Andrea Vallicelli with naval Architecture and concept styling by ISA’s in-house technical department.
The ISA 140 yacht measures 43.63 metres in length and spans 3 decks. The tri-deck layout includes a sundeck, main deck and lower deck which is available in two different configurations depending on the owners requests and preferences. The ISA 140 Series accommodates 10 guests with space for eight crew.

The exterior design by Andrea Vallicelli features a bold and dramatic feel with strong diagonal lines that run from the sundeck to the stern, mirroring the flair of the ISA’s distinctive sweeping staircases leading to the central Spa Pool on the sundeck.

Powered by twin MTU 16V 4,000 M93L engines each producing 3440 KW @ 2170 rpm connected to two lateral and a booster waterjet, the ISA 140 motor yacht can reach an impressive top speed of 38 knots with cruising at 32 knots. She will have fuel tanks able to carry 30,000 LT and a 520 nautical miles range when cruising at 32 knots with a longer range possible at a more economical cruising speed. The yachts displacement at full load is 235 tonne.

The first hull of the ISA 140 planning motor yacht is expected to be launched in 2011 and ISA Yachts aims to average production of between one and two 140 series every year.
