With 400 yacht builds under its lead so far, the Italian Sea Group has recently expanded its operations with a new superyacht refit facility, featuring 100,000 sq meters of production space as well as 250 meter LOA capacity. It is situated in Marina di Carrara, Italy.

The Italian Sea Group’s brand components are very well known: Admiral, Tecnomar and Nuovi Canteieri Apuania make up over 60 years of European tradition. Making its presence established in North America is one of the group’s immediate goals, and with its new delivery of the motor yacht Impero 37, making waves across news wires (and eventually the Atlantic), the company isn’t too far from total accomplishment.

The Impero 37 yacht could be built as a full displacement with up to 4-decks within the 60m configuration.

At their new superyacht refit facility, captain and crews will find 2,000sqm of space in which to relax or get some personal work done. The yard has a 200m dry dock, a floating barge for yachts up to 90m and a number of cranes capable of lifting over 1,000 tons.

To say that the facility can handle almost anything is an understatement. Custom builds that have emerged from the yard thus far are completely different from one another. In addition to the Impero 70 yacht, there is a 40m of the same line being delivered to her owner this summer. The yard is also completing work on a 24m sailing yacht and three other custom yachts in the spring of next year.
