The Italian Sea Group represents one of the largest conglomerates of the international yachting industry. Managed by the entrepreneur Giovanni Costantino, The Italian Sea Group features a straightforward corporate structure.
The Group is made up of 3 business units:
• Admiral Tecnomar, for motor and sailing yachts construction;
• NCA for naval & commercial construction;
• NCA Refit for commercial ships and yachts.
The acquisition of NCA – Nuovi Cantieri Apuania represents a strategic step forward in the growth process of the Group and allows:
• production of yachts of over 60 meters in length as the trend of orders for large yachts has continued over the past 5 years;
• expansion of production capacity;
• high-tech commercial shipbuilding;
• development of refitting & service business for big ships and yachts.
Established in 1942 Nuovi Cantieri Apuania has a solid track record for construction and refitting of commercial and cruising ships.
More than 140 ships have been delivered in 70 years meaning more than 2 ships per year!
Combining commercial and yachting expertise, NCA refit is becoming a benchmark in the Mediterranean Sea.
Ideally located on the northern Tuscan coast (Marina di Carrara), Nuovi Cantieri Apuania is one of the Mediterranean’s largest and best equipped shipyards.
Out of more than 100.000 sqm yard surface, 30.000 sqm are dedicated to refitting.
The yard has a 200m x 35m dry dock, a floating barge for hauling and launching yachts up to 90mt long, a quay of 500m and gantry cranes for 1,000 tons of total lifting capacity, one of which, alone, can lift up to 200 tons.

The yard pays also attention to crews organization.
A 2000sqm guesthouse to host captains and crews is currently under construction at the yard connected to the refitting area.
The yard is also partnering with the local Tourism Agency to arrange crew visits to magnificent surroundings like Florence, Pisa, Siena, Cinque Terre, etc.
