Chinese shipbuilder Ruiying Yachts (瑞盈) has delivered its second Ruiying 125 luxury yacht to martial artist and film star Jackie Chan. The 38m/125ft superyacht was handed over at a ceremony in Hulaodao (葫芦岛) city, and as a symbol of ownership, Mr. Chan was presented with a giant golden key before the tradition of smashing a bottle on the bow took place. After the ceremony, he took the helm and cruised to Anchor Bay Marina in the company of bank officials, city officials and cultural representatives.
The first Ruiying 125 was delivered only three months ago in September, and although there has been no official layout or specifications released, the Ruiying 125 series is believed to be fitted with a helipad, Jacuzzi, sauna, gym, KTV room, cinema and business facilities including a private office and meeting area.
The Ruiying 125 is built with a beam of 7.32m/24ft and a draft of 1.9m/6ft. 2 x CAT C32-1900hp engines provide power for a top speed of 23 knots.
At a press conference, it was announced that Mr. Chan intended to own another yacht from the yard: A 46m/151ft Jinlong superyacht due to be launched by the yard in 2019.
