The prestigious French luxury yacht builder, JFA Yachts, has been based in Concarneau since 1993. The company constructs and refits yachts from 20 to 60 meters, motor yachts or sailboats, monohull or multihull. With 4 building halls as well as appropriate infrastructures, including pontoon and lifting devices, JFA provides a high versatility and most of all, a recognized expertise in those sizes of yachts.
This coming spring, this year being its 20th anniversary, JFA is exhibiting firstly on the Chinese Riviera at the exclusive and luxurious Hainan Rendez-Vous, which holds its third edition from March 30th to April 2nd, and then at the International Multihull Boat Show, which fourth edition will be held in La Grande Motte from April 10th to 14th.
Hainan Rendez-Vous, original event that, among others, brings together business aviation and Superyachts, is already a must for the market of the luxury industry. France and its wide range of internationally renowned companies on Luxury markets will be strongly represented. JFA Yachts will make its first entry within the french pavillon. Asia with its thousands of kilometres of coastline has a high growth potential on the yacht market for both sailing and motor boats.
Having launched its Long Island range of semi-custom catamarans last year, JFA has confirmed the importance of its presence on the multihull market. JFA’s first catamaran was delivered in 2004, an 85′ boat which made a complete circumnavigation in 4 years.
Delivered last year, the VPLP 110 superyacht Mousetrap is a unique carbon catamaran and the largest cruising catamaran in the world built out of composite.
Currently under construction, the Long Island 85 yacht, first yacht of the range, is by her size and freeboard, designed to sail far and in greatest comfort. Her hull and nacelle’s floor are aluminum while the deck and superstructure are composite.
The all-composite Long Island 100 superyacht is the latest project of this range.
The Multihull Boat Show is an appointment of importance for JFA Yachts which aims to be a key player of the 2-hulls Superyacht market.
