Taiwanese shipyard Johnson Yachts has added a new model to its series: The motor yacht JOHNSON 110 SKYLOUNGE, offering an additional level with a pilothouse and skylounge for greater interior volume and comfort.
Based on an exterior design from Bill Dixon of Bill Dixon Yacht Design, the JOHNSON 110 SKYLOUNGE has a third band of vertical windows that have become a signature of the shipyard.
The 33.5m/110ft luxury yacht has a voluminous interior created by the beam of 7.2m/23.7ft, and the additional deck allows for even more space for the 10 guests or for dockside parties. The in-house naval architecture and engineering team decided on a fibreglass hull and superstructure to ensure that her draft remains shallow for navigating close to the shore.
The beautiful interior styling is timelessly elegant and matches white and navy furnishings with rich wooden panelling and teak floors. The Master suite is another example of how seamless and well-planned such elements as the line of sight have been implemented: From the bed, the occupants have 180° views out of the band of forward windows.
The current design accommodates up to 10 guests across 5 en-suite cabins, however, the shipyard is flexible in creating custom layouts around the onboard engineering.
Power comes from twin 1,925 HP Caterpillar C32 ACERT engines which allow for a top speed of 22 knots. The yacht is also fitted with ABT zero-speed fin stabilisers and a Seakeeper 35 gyro stabilizer for the comfort and safety of all on board while crossing in variable sea conditions.
The custom JOHNSON 110 SKYLOUNGE is an example of what the Johnson shipyard is capable of and should inspire other Owners to request their own customisations.
