FYI Superyachts, the official dealer of The Italian Sea Group for Latin America has made a key appointment. The company has selected Romina Bompani as their new Marketing Director.
Romina Bompani, who has exceptional knowledge and understanding of the super yacht market, joins FYI Superyachts as Marketing Director, bequeathing the company with an abundance of relevant experience in marketing and sales within the international nautical industry. Her professional qualifications include two Master’s Degrees from well-known European business schools, more than 9 years of marina management, boat show development and promotion, plus international yacht events’ management (like the 32ND & 33RD editions of the America’s Cup and the F1 European Grand Prix ). In addition, she is fluent in four languages, passionate about sailing, and a keen dinghy sailor.
Romina’s role at FYI encompasses all aspects of marketing and international sales. She will oversee all internal and external communications as well as develop and manage promotional campaigns. As marketing director, Romina will create and manage all marketing materials to establish a clear, consistent, and distinguishable image for the company, more specifically in Latin American emerging markets.
The objective is clear: to encourage and uphold FYI Superyachts’ position as an international brokerage firm, while attaining a more concrete global presence for the brands the company represents. FYI Superyachts is the newest division of Florida Yachts International a worldwide leader in yachting, brokerage, purchase, new construction, and luxury yacht charter.
Founded in 1993, Florida Yachts International specializes in the Latin America market, where it is the exclusive representative of The Italian Sea Group and its custom brands: Admiral and Tecnomar. The company has offices located in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Venezuela, Colombia, Peru, and most recently, Panama.
The FYI team is confident that she will excel in her endeavors, strongly supporting her marketing strategies and ambitions for the company. Romina is taking the bull by the horns on FYI’s digital strategy a more robust online presence which will include several advertisement campaigns as well as an upcoming revamped product website. More interpersonal marketing strategies include campaigns of heavy-duty presence in the upcoming Monaco Yacht Show and Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.
