An amazing speakers’ list is developing for the Marine15 International Conference and Trade Exhibition, set to take place from 3-5 May 2015 on the Gold Coast, a popular Australia yacht holiday destination. 55 keynote as well as conference stream sessions are being finalized for the event.
Motivational speaker Tony Mowbray will tell his story of the ‘Power of Commitment’ that enabled him to become the fastest Australian to sail solo, non-stop and unassisted around the world. Two years earlier, Tony and his crew on board his yacht ‘Solo Globe Challenger’ were part of the 1998 Sydney to Hobart yacht race, which encountered the worst race-conditions in its 54 year history. Tony’s inspiring story will offer marine15 delegates with a recipe for success in today’s challenging business climate.
Jeff Hoedt, Chief, Boating Safety Division of the US Coast Guard is planning to attend and Jean Murray, Chair of the Canadian Safe Boating Council was able to confirm this week her speaking engagement. Jean has a wealth of experience in successfully engaging and collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders in government and NGO across jurisdictions in both Canada and the USA to promote boating safety.
Kerry Moher, Vice President Business Development, Fresh Air Educators Inc. of North America is the latest speaker to confirm attendance in support of the Safety stream. Kerry will provide insights into the rapidly building world of online education informed by the work of Fresh Air Educators which has delivered more than one million online courses that include paddling and power boating.
