Kingship launched their second Magellan 110, project KS005 on the 14th of April. The yacht is undergoing sea trials and is scheduled to be delivered this summer.
The Superyacht Magellan 110 combines Holland’s Vripack engineering and naval architecture, styling by Pieter Beeldsnijder of PB Design, and Luiz de Basto’s interior design.
The first Magellan 110 now named Princess_K was launched at Kingship in 2007 and due to her success, Kingship developed the Magellan 110, project KS005 with the same team. Project KS005 of the Magellan 110 series, differs slightly from her predecessor with a 1.5 (five feet) meters extension of the sky lounge which gives the owner more interior space for entertaining. Both of the Magellan 110 motor yachts feature a steel hulls and aluminum superstructure intended for long-range explorations.
The ocean-explorer design of the Magellan 110, enable the owners to travel great distances safely with an expected range of 4500 nm at 12 knots, thanks to her twin 3406E DITA Caterpillar engines.
Accommodation onboard the Magellan 110, motor yacht comprises a spacious master stateroom on the main deck and 4 guest cabins on the lower deck. She is built to Lloyd’s + 100 A1 SSC yacht Mono G6 + LMC and MCA compliance.
