It is now well known that today’s technologies offer electric propulsion systems with little or no environmental impact. However, to date, these motors have typically been installed in traditional displacement or fast planning hulls, both of which require significant levels of power for normal operation. Subsequently, a large amount of this power is in turn lost, due to wave generation from inefficient hull forms.

KITEALIKE hybrid motion is an all new concept in boat design which represents a breakthrough both in external style and in technical hull design. The striking modern lines harmonize with this new efficient hull form. This allows the boat to ‘slip’ through the water with absolute minimal resistance.

The Limousine 30’ yacht tender , the first model in the all new KITEALIKE hybrid motion range, is a boat ideally designed for urban waterways, specifically for use as a water taxi, private limousine or as a sport boat. In addition, this and the Tender 30’ model, are also ideally suited for use as luxury super yacht tenders.

Furthermore KITEALIKE hybrid motion is a most attractive option for public authorities such as the police, security, emergency services, and other units with on water service responsibilities.

Limousine 30' yacht tender - Interior
Both, with a length of 8.90m and beam of 2.35m, can carry up to 12 passengers. Setting this boat apart from anything else are the two propulsion systems aboard driving a common traditional shaft drive. One, a 20 kW electric motor which provides up to 2 hours use at a speed of 5 knots.
This also features a quick-charge battery system. The second system aboard the KITEALIKE hybrid motion is a conventional high performance diesel engine. To meet strict regulations which may be imposed on some waterways, this may be de-tuned to local authorities requirements. This engine provides a great turn of speed as required, yet, due to the innovative hull form, with minimal wave generation.
