The latest 120-foot sailing yacht Ks 120 Raised Deckhouse concept by Stefano Andreas Kuokas from Ks Yachts represents a new proposal in terms of space as well as livability, preserving the performance and the design style of classic sloop.
As starting point, the goal was to have a typology of sailing boat able to bring the reality of the luxury and space of motor yachts into a sailing boat. The real challenge from the design point of view, was to have a light deckhouse that at the same time develops enough space for a great interior. The result is a magnificent raised deckhouse sailing yacht Ks 120 concept, with an amazing saloon and a comfortable covered external living area.
The second part of the Ks 120 superyacht project is the garage for the dinghy. The project was developed in order to have a smart and easy solution, able to release the dinghy in a fast and simple way. The system is composed of a pool mechanism that is housed inside the boom, and two garage doors. All the garage system must be considered as an optional for the Ks 120 yacht concept.
The Ks 120 yacht project was created in collaboration with IED (European Institute of Design).
Stefano Andreas Kuokas was born in Brazil in 1988. He has a Bachelor degree in Naval Design and Architecture (University of Architecture of Genova) and a Master in Yacht Design (IED Torino).
