Following a great success of the inaugural Kuwait Yacht Show, which ran for three fully-packed days in January 2013, PH7 Events will present a bigger and even better show in 2014. This year’s event will be once again hosted by Marina Crescent and will run from February 2 to 7.
The first edition of the show was officially inaugurated at Marina Crescent on the 28th of January, 2013 under the patronage and in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Information and State Minister for Youth Affairs, Sheikh Salman Al-Hmoud Al-Sabah.
Accompanying His Excellency Sheikh Salman for the cutting of the ribbon were the Minister of Municipal Affairs Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, the Minister of Commerce Mr. Anas Al-Saleh, the Minister of Planning and Development Ms. RoulaDashti, the Minister of Social Affairs and LaborMs.ThikraAyed Al-Rashidi as well as a number of dignitaries and VIPs representing various private and public sectors corporations. The ribbon cutting ceremony was followed by a tour of the show which included both on-land and in-water displays.
What’s new for 2014?
Kuwait will see a bigger event, and one with an even greater international flavour. The 2nd edition of the Kuwait Yacht Show, to be held from 2nd to 7th February, will bring together a mix of yachts, marine equipment and elements essential to the nautical lifestyle.
