The growing request from the regional yacht manufacturers brings the latest innovations in technology to the 2012 Dubai International Boat Show, held in March 13-17. This internationally known annual event attracts the leading companies in the global marine equipment industry thanks to the market regaining strength and price pressures ease.
Due to market recovery and a strong demand from yacht builders across the GCC requiring the most advanced innovations in marine equipment, exhibitor numbers have strengthened. The 20th anniversary of the Dubai International Boat Show – running from 13 – 17 March 2012 at the Dubai International Marine Club – Mina Seyahi will gather more than 750 exhibitors, many of which specialise in the latest marine equipment and services available to regional yacht builders.

Companies including Exalto Emirates, Elcome, Gulf Development Systems, Japan Marine Equipments, MTU, Al-Dhawi Diesel Engine Company, Clement Systems Gulf, Cummins Middle East, Dubai Ship Building and Engineering, Al-Ghandi Group, Sunset Marine Equipment and Yamaha will fill the indoor area with the latest products essential to the supply and servicing of the leisure marine industry, from deck fittings and fixtures to engines and navigational equipment.
Returning exhibitor Exalto Emirates, a high quality marine parts and equipment distributor, have been at the Dubai International Boat show for most of the 20 years the show has been in existence. They represent top international brands including Vetus, Mastervolt, Maxwell, Gianneschi, Webasto, Hamiltonjet, Jabsco, Exalto Holland, Guidi, Blue Sea, Aqualuma, Bennett, Nautical Structures and Tecnicomar.

Exhibitors from more than 40 countries will be taking part with the German pavilion returning this year to the show. The show will also feature debut appearances from several new nations such as Austria, Egypt, Hong Kong, Madagascar, Poland and Tunisia, while the National Pavilions from Australia, France, South Korea and the United Kingdom have all increased their space from last year.
The 2012 show will host 11 members of the world’s most prestigious superyachts builders association (SYBAss), a record for the event. Among the prized names, Abeking & Rasmussen, AMELS, Benetti, Feadship, Fincantieri, Heesen Yachts, Lurssen, Oceanco, San Lorenzo and Trinity Yachts, have all confirmed their participation at the 20th anniversary edition of the show and will showcase their latest yacht models and designs in the dedicated SYBAss Pavillion.
Key exhibitors including Al Shaali Marine, ART Marine, Aquaspeed, Azimut, Emirates Boats, Gulf Craft – who is celebrating its 30th anniversary – Princess Yachts and Sunseeker also ensure that the 2012 Dubai International Boat Show will be the most successful yet.
Other key segments of the show is the Superyacht Boulevard, exclusively reserved for the showcasing of superyachts of 25 metres and above; the Marina Display Area, comprising of the largest on-water display in the Middle East; Luxury Supplies & Services housing the finest luxury fixtures and fittings from around the world; and the hugely popular Supercar Promenade returns to the show for its second year.
The Dubai International Boat Show welcomes back for the third consecutive year, one of the world’s most elite watch brands, Officine Panerai as a supporting partner and also for the third year in a row, Mercedes-Benz is supporting the event as the official show car. Meanwhile, leading private jet manufacturer, Bombardier joins the show as a major sponsor for the first time.
The 20th anniversary of the Dubai International Boat Show will be held at the Dubai International Marine Club – Mina Seyahi from 13 – 17 March 2012 and will open to trade visitors and the general public from 3:00pm – 9:30pm daily.
