The latest luxury vessels to confirm their participation in the eagerly awaited 15th Anniversary edition of the prestigious Asia Superyacht Rendezvous are the 55m Feadship motor yacht SAMAX, the 36,8m Myanmar yacht SUNSHINE, as well as the beautiful Indonesian classic Phinisi yacht LAMIMA – at 65m, the world’s largest wooden sailing yacht, available for charter for the Rendezvous.

The exclusive Kata Rocks Resort will once again host this elite gathering destined for superyacht owners and their VIP guests for three fun packed days from December 16 to 18. The event represents Asia’s largest Rendezvous of superyacht owners, guests, VIPs and crew who meet to have fun before the Christmas season.
This year’s event will open with an amazing Thai Buddhist Blessing of the attending fleet. That evening, some of the best mixologists in the area will treat guests to cocktails aboard S/Y Lamima to get everyone into the festive mood.
The following days, the sailing yachts will participate in a regatta where they will compete against one another in the fantastic surroundings of Phuket. The motor yachts will follow at a more leisurely pace, whilst not missing a second of the action against the backdrop of some of the world’s most fascinating scenery.
The ever-popular Feadship Challenge will return this year. The teams will once again go head to head competing with model boats. The Rendezvous Pirate Booty is a fun treasure hunt for all guests to enjoy. The VIP Gala Dinner presents the finale for the Rendezvous and guests will be treated to a delicious Thai fusion menu, prepared by the new Executive Chef at Kata Rocks, who has a strong Michelin star heritage.
Clients can now charter a sailing or motor yacht for the duration of the Rendezvous and attend the fun sailing and other Rendezvous events, thanks to a new superyacht charter license, issued for superyachts of 30m+ in Thailand. The Asia Superyacht Rendezvous can either form the start of an Andaman cruising season or become the unforgettable grand finale of a tour of South East Asia. Phuket is the perfect gateway and jumping off point for further exploration of the Andaman Sea.
