Thailand-based shipyard, Italthai Marine Shipyard, has successfully launched the impressive 65-metre sailing yacht Lamima. Traditionally styled wooden phinisi yacht Lamima is an Indonesian sailing ketch, constructed on the beach in Bira, in the island of Sulawesi in Indonesia. Subsequently, she was towed to Italthai Marine in Bangkok for outfitting.
Mega yacht Lamima can comfortably sleep up to 14 guests in seven generous en-suite cabins. There is also accommodation for up to 20 crew members.
The beautiful 65-metre Lamima superyacht represents the largest sailing phinisi in existence. Her main mast and topmast measures 50 metres overall, while the mizzen mast and topmast is 48 metres long. The entire rigging package weighs in at about 22 tonnes.
