Columbus Yachts, brand of the Palumbo Group, has recently announced the launch of the new ‘Columbus Liberty’ line of luxury superyachts, ranging from 28 to 38m in length. Superbly penned by Marco Casali of Too Design, the yachts can be fully customized in their layout, as well as exterior and interior design.
The Columbus Liberty superyachts provide a wonderful selection of different layout possibilities, such as the main salon with the option of featuring a galley. They have no upper deck, resulting in better stability and sea keeping of the vessel, and the possibility to offer an amazingly spacious sun deck, that can be constructed with or without a hardtop.
The foredeck area hosts a pool with a forward facing seating area and additional space for tenders and toys, and there is also a vast beach area that can be opened up to the ocean by large sliding glass doors, and leads out onto the swim platform. The main deck aft features a large dining table that can comfortably host up to 14 guests.
The hull design of the Columbus Liberty yachts is perfect for the use of Siemen’s Eco-Prop system. This allows the yachts to achieve speeds of over 20 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots, with remarkably low fuel consumption.
