Following a successful recruitment campaign, Flare Technologies, the company specializing in operational and lifestyle electronics, has once again expanded its team. Chris Beedie, a senior AV Engineer in the yachting industry, has joined the company’s team. Chris has worked as Lead Engineer on such outstanding vessels as the 110m motor yacht Dilbar, the 110m superyacht Radiant, as well as the 148m mega yacht Topaz, all built by the premier German shipyard, Lurssen.
“Chris joins the Flare Technologies team at an exciting time as we build on another successful year in business. His wealth of knowledge in the industry is enormous with the most notable having been Lead Engineer on MY Dilbar, 110m by Lurssen, delivered in 2008, M/Y Radiant a 110m by Lurssen delivered in 2009, and his latest position as Lead Engineer was on MY Topaz a 148m Lurssen delivered 2012,” says Martin Dickson, COO.
He is highly qualified in Audio Visual installation servicing and faultfinding, Security, Integrated Bridge Systems and is a qualified Crestron DM Engineer.
Flare Technologies are delighted to welcome Chris to the team. He will be based in the Palma office, covering the Mediterranean and when necessary further afield.
