The announcement follows the news that some 75% of the available marina berths at the show have already been taken, seven months before it takes place at the Albert Dock from 29th April to 8th May next year.
Yorkshire-based Acaster Marine will be joined by Oxfordshire-based EP Barrus Ltd, independent yacht charter agency Nautilus Yachting and marine industry insurance provider Haven Knox-Johnston.
Acaster Marine, which is the sole UK distributor of the Viking and Seamaster range of boats, is set to bring a range of river and canal cruisers to the inaugural show.
Acaster Marine’s Richard Dearlove, said: “We are delighted to be able to show our range of river and canal cruisers at a major event attended by our valued customers who enjoy boating in the Northern area.
“There is a real buzz around the show – it sounds exciting, looks exciting, and we are proud to support the event.”
EP Barrus Ltd represents many leading brands across diverse market sectors including marine engines, boats, parts and accessories. Commenting on the company’s decision to exhibit at the show, Tim Hart said: “The Liverpool Boat Show promises to be a highlight in the boating calendar next year. It is the ideal setting to showcase our innovative and extensive range of marine brands in an area that is new to boating events on this scale.”
Jonathan Shears from Nautilus Yachting which organises sailing holidays worldwide, said: “The Liverpool Boat Show will give us an exciting opportunity to meet clients who would not normally travel down to boat shows in the South of England.”
Marketing co-ordinator at insurance provider Haven Knox-Johnston, Sonia Hook, added: “Our presence at boat shows is a great way for us to be in touch with the boating community and Liverpool will be no exception. With the rich yachting and maritime heritage we are confident that this show will be a great success.”
