Diamond jubilee celebrations will once again carry across the capital as the London Boat Show celebrates 60th anniversary this upcoming January. Set to run from January 4 to 12, the event will open its doors in just three weeks, celebrating history and legacy of the boat show, with thousands of boats, brands, products, as well as suppliers.
To date advanced ticket sales are up 33% on the 2013 Show and over 90% of space is confirmed. Exhibitors who have signed up this week include; Scorpion RIBs, Axis MGM Marine, Axis Boats UK, Rib Shack Marine Trading, MACtac and Zero 50.
The organizers are pleased to announce that more boats are being confirmed to be at the Show each day including those making their debut in London. 66 boats will be launched across the nine days including 10 World Debuts including the Sunseeker 75 Yacht, Bayliner 742, and the 50 Jetten MPC. Two boats are making their European debut while many more will be seen in the UK for the first time, including the Intercruiser 35, Bavaria Sport 39, Capelli 520 and the Quicksilver Pilothouse 675.
The 2014 event is being supported by a high frequency ITV1 TV advertising campaign. Reaching almost a third of the entire country, the advert will be aired just after Christmas and will target East Anglia, Greater London, Thames Valley and ITV Meridian, all regions with larger numbers of existing and potential visitors.
