The French luxury yacht builder JFA Yachts has announced the launch of its first Long Island 78’ Power yacht, built with an aluminium hull and composite superstructure and wheelhouse. The new catamaran is a comfortable, modern and efficient yacht created for long voyages. She was created in collaboration with Marc Lombard Yacht Design Group for naval architecture and Darnet Design for interiors.
The interior is spacious offering amazing views of the yacht surroundings. The yacht’s main deck features a galley and the saloon on the port side, while the starboard has a dining room and the navigation station.
The accommodation is found below decks, comprising an owner’s suite and four guest suites, all located in the hulls.
On the exterior, the flybridge features the wheelhouse in an enclosed area together with a banquette and a desk. Aft of the wheelhouse, the sky lounge has been fitted with a dining area and a kitchenette as well as a seating area.
Back on the Ain deck, a lounge and a seawater pool are the perfect space for relaxation and sunbathing.
She is powered by two 500hp Cummins engines, reaching a top speed of 15 knots with a cruising speed of 12 knots and reasonable fuel consumption.
