Southern Wind‘s SW 100 superyacht Cape Arrow as well as SW 94 yacht Windfall have just returned from a magnificent week of sailing and fun at the recently concluded Loro Piana Superyacht Regatta, taking place in the popular Italian yacht charter destination – Porto Cervo in Sardinia, from June 4 to 8, 2013.
During the four days of racing, the fleet had the chance to sail among the most beautiful spots of the Sardinian North East coast, such as the Isle of La Maddalena, the Isle of Spargi and the Isle of Lavezzi. The weather conditions have been ideal: warm sun and a perfect wind (from 10 to 20 knts).
“The boat was fantastic, very enjoyable – and the area is one of the most beautiful. The racing was very nice – I have nothing but positive things to say! I have to say that the Southern Wind is one of the best boats,” said Dario Ferrari, enthusiastic charterer of SW 94 superyacht Windfall during the event.
“We’re quite happy as the boat is not in 100 per cent racing condition. It’s been beautiful and the conditions we’ve had have been unbelievable. It’s been amazing,” said Guido Maisto, SW 100 luxury yacht Cape Arrow’s crew boss.
Southern Wind is looking forward to see you all on June 2014 for the XII edition of the Southern Wind Shipyard Trophy.
