The prestigious family own and operated German shipyard Lurssen announces the launch of their new website, that takes Web users on a captivating virtual tour of the megayacht world. The new website features not only magnificent images and interesting background information on the company, but also interactive functions, amongst which is the elite Lürssen Forum, where yacht captains can contribute with their knowledge and ideas.
Never before has it been easier to enter the exclusive world of superyachts – at least digitally. The new Lürssen Website is designed to welcome yacht owners, crews and fans alike with simplified navigation, a new look & feel and many entertaining and informative features.
Coinciding with the launch of new Website, Lürssen has fine-tuned its corporate look and adopted a new slogan: “Yachts built on family bonds since 1875.”
“Our clients value the integrity, confidentiality and trustworthiness of a family company with a long tradition,” says Peter Lürssen, one of the owners of the company.
Information awaiting visitors at Lurssen’s website, includes details on the company and family history, the individual Lürssen shipyards and their facilities and an extensive photo and video gallery of Lürssen yachts from various views.
The Website reflects an open-minded and contemporary approach. For example, an area is reserved for “Young Designer of the Year” finalists. Candidates for the annual award, a category of the ShowBoats Design Awards organised by the yacht publication ShowBoats International, present their designs along with descriptions in their own words. Also featured is a sketchbook, showing hand drawings by internationally renowned designs. And there is more in store: iPad and iPhone users can look forward to a series of exclusive Lürssen apps for free download via the Apple Store. The first app: an extended version of the Lürssen Gallery.
There are a number of stunning superyachts available for luxury yacht charter build by Lurssen, including the stunning 60 motor yacht SOLEMATES II and the 58 metre superyacht CAPRI. Furthermore, you can find a gallery of other beautiful Lurssen charter yachts, below.
