Lürssen is thrilled to announce the successful delivery of the 122m ultra-luxurious mega yacht KISMET, setting sail from the shipyard on May 7, 2024, marking the onset of an extraordinary era in luxury yachting and bespoke luxury yacht charter. She is now available for bookings in the Mediterranean in summer or the Caribbean in the winter. Twelve guests will find the utmost comfort in 9 suites and the highest of services when catered for by a crew of 37 on board.
Crafted for a discerning client with a history of collaborations with Lürssen, KISMET, designed by Nuvolari-Lenard, exudes balanced proportions with its 122-meter length (including the bowsprit) and 17.80-meter beam, showcasing remarkable spaciousness while retaining its sleek and elegant profile. The imposing mast and the bow figure, reminiscent of a leaping jaguar, impart a distinctive sense of grandeur to its silhouette.
Internally, the Owner once again entrusted Reymond Langton Design to fashion a space of unparalleled opulence and refinement, tailored to mirror the Owner’s distinct lifestyle. Notable features include a two-level open-plan entrance adorned with expansive video walls, a Nemo cinema on the lower deck featuring a 150-inch screen and an underwater seating area, and a deluxe 7-star wellness area, among other luxurious amenities.
KISMET marks the third collaborative effort between Lürssen, the client, and the seasoned Owner’s representatives Kyle and Gerry Fultz.
Peter Lürßen remarks, “The Owner’s brief was challenging. However, we believe that with our technical expertise, we have fulfilled the Owner’s wish and vision for a yacht that will still be timeless and ahead of its time for many years to come. Our thanks go to the excellent design and communication with the designers Nuvolari-Lenard and Reymond Langton and the Lürssen project team. Special thanks go to the competent and experienced Owner’s team Kyle and Gerry Fultz.”
Equipped with cutting-edge technology characteristic of Lürssen yachts, KISMET boasts a state-of-the-art hybrid powertrain with a full-electric mode, positioning it among the most powerful yet energy-efficient superyachts globally. Additional innovations, such as a heat recovery system in the generators for pool water heating and dynamic positioning for electronic anchoring in sensitive and remote areas, underscore Lürssen’s commitment to sustainability and safety.
As KISMET embarks on her maiden voyage, she epitomizes luxury, craftsmanship, and technological innovation, reaffirming Lürssen’s stature as a leader in the realm of superyachts.
She will spend her inaugural season in the Mediterranean and is available for charter.
