In 2008, the award-winning operator Aqua Expeditions launched the Motor Vessel AQUA, a boutique luxury cruise vessel able to sail down the earth’s mightiest river the Amazon, into remote areas deep in the heart of the Amazon rainforest.
Due to an ever growing client base and number of travellers interested in exploring the vast wilderness of the Amazon, Aqua Expeditions have commissioned a second luxury expedition vessel called M/V ARIA, a 45.00m (147′ 7″) Custom built motor vessel due to be launched in 2011.

Both the motor yacht AQUA and motor yacht ARIA are able to provide luxury accommodation for travellers while cruising unique and virtually untouched places on the mighty Amazon, its tributaries, its lakes and national parks, and its remote jungle villages that larger ships cannot reach.
Luxury yacht AQUA is a Custom built 2007 motor vessel that can accommodate 24 guests with a crew of 14 complemented by three skilled guides.
Starting April, 2011, the M/V AQUA’s new sister ship, the 45,00m (147′ 7″) M/V ARIA, will offer two additional weekly departures accommodating 32 passengers in luxury.
Luxury motor vessel ARIA and AQUA will follow similar itineraries, arriving on different days at remote river destinations. Both yachts offer luxury accommodation in large staterooms with oversized floor to ceiling windows, luxurious air-conditioned communal areas including a dining room, Indoor Bar-Lounge, Observation Deck and Outside Lounge as well a gourmet cuisine prepares by a talented Peruvian chef, complemented by the finest South American wines.

FRIDAY: Arrival, safety drill and welcome briefing
SATURDAY: Boat ride along the Yanayacu (Amazon) and fishing; Yarapa to see the caimans and enjoy a sundowner on the river
SUNDAY: Explore the remote Yanallpa Creek; sail along the Dorado River
MONDAY: Get up early to experience one of the highlights of your journey, the headwaters of the mighty Amazon; visit Puerto Miguel Village and see giant water lilies fl oat along the scenic Maranon River
TUESDAY: Spend the full day exploring the vast Pacaya Samiria National Park, as M/V ARIA navigates along the Samiria River; excursions include a night journey aboard the skiffs to search for caimans
WEDNESDAY: Full day exploring Yanayacu Pucate to see a great variety of monkeys, birds, turtles, alligators, and all of the wildlife of the jungle
THURSDAY: Up early to have breakfast on the skiffs and explore one of the world’s great black water rivers; float on remote Charo Lake, where you can fish for the fierce piranha
FRIDAY: Sail back toward Iquitos, passing through Belen, a city built on stilts; tour Iquitos; visit the Artisans Market; then catch your evening flight to Lima.
