Puerto Calero
Puerto Calero in Lanzarote is Calero Marinas’ most established and exclusive sailing destination. This sheltered sun-trap bustles with a friendly, village-like atmosphere and the scenic marina waterfront offers an engaging variety of restaurants, cafés and shops. Word is spreading amongst the race circuit navegati and Puerto Calero has become an important start point for top-level international racing regattas, hosting numerous sailing World Championships (RC44, TP52 and GP42) and currently home to its fourth resident Volvo training campaign, Team SCA.
Puerto Calero has also earned a reputation as a haven for cruising sailors looking to escape the rigours of winter. A quiet and relaxing resort, it is only a few kilometres from the bustling resorts of Puerto del Carmen and Playa Blanca and the island’s capital Arrecife, but a world away in style and atmosphere.

Marina Lanzarote
Marina Lanzarote is a new and stylish addition to Calero Marinas, recognised as the primary port of call upon arriving in the temperate Canarian archipelago. Authentically situated in the island’s capital, this city hub destination with gym, pool, restaurants and shops offers plenty of distractions both within and nearby the marina.
The marina comfortably features secure 60m superyacht berths and a clear 5m draught. Technical services include an 820-tonne lift, two keel pits and specialist repair workshops. Set to host the Panerai Transat Classique, the Mini Transat and Jimmy Cornell’s Atlantic Odyssey in 2014/5, the marina enjoys a naturally nautical buzz and has proven to be an instinctive landmark for visitors since its inception.
Marina Lanzarote
Arrecife offers much to visitors with old forts, museums and a pretty shopping high street. A colourful market fills the old square on Saturdays and a walk along the waterfront and Charco San Ginés reveals tiny bars and a charming impression of the relaxed Canarian way of life. Well positioned to enjoy the island’s colourful street festivals, the best time to be in port is for Carnival and the King’s festival in January.
