The sleek and sporty luxury yacht ALFA 50 from Rossinavi in collaboration with naval architect Enrico Gobbi was revealed at the Monaco Yacht Show 2019, and now more details have been released.
The sleek and sporty style of the 50m/164ft luxury yacht was directly inspired by the Alfa Romeo sports cars, and they have been recognised for their influence in the name of the model. The iconic grille in anthracite – the colour of classic steel gar grids – has been replicated in the plates on the vertical bow, and the strong sweep of the contours in conjunction with a dark hull and matching superstructure.
In contrast to the dark outer appearance, there are numerous light-filled spaces on board for guests to unwind together or in private: From the main deck to the Owner’s cabin with its side balconies, each room has the benefit of panoramic views through floor-to-ceiling windows – a signature design choice from Enrico Gobbi and his studio Team For Design.
One of the most visible innovations is the open main deck aft and combined beach club along the stern: A transom door folds down to create a large swim platform beside the sea. When closed, this area is protected from the elements and can be used as an open-air lounge, while steps up to the main deck give this space the feel of a two-tier atrium, with a glass-sided swimming pool and waterfall as the centrepiece.
The Master suite is placed on the main deck forward and has a private gym in addition to the foredeck terrace, where rows of sunbeds and a C-shaped sofa and drinks table create an ideal outdoor living space. The sundeck offers sunbeds and sun loungers forward and aft respectively, with the shaded central area furnished with a bar and alfresco lounge and dining area, creating another desirable space to savour life outdoors among stunning locations such as Cannes and Monaco or the wilds of Corsica and Sardinia.
