As the BILGIN 156 luxury yacht SNOW 5 heads off to Miami for delivery to her Owner, Turkish shipyard Bilgin will welcome the Owner’s previous motor yacht, ICE 5, to its facilities for a refit.
The 42.6m/139.8ft ICE 5 was built in 2002 and last received a refit in 2017 with exterior styling and engineering from Paolo Caliari and interiors by Jean-Guy Verges. Details of the most recent refit have yet to be released, however it is known that the work will be completed by spring 2020.
M/Y ICE 5 has accommodation for up to 12 guests over 6 en-suite cabins: 1 Master suite, 2 VIP staterooms, 2 double cabins and 1 twin cabin. Her engines provide a top speed of 22 knots and a range of 2,700 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 12 knots.
Bilgin Yachts is currently constructing three units of the BILGIN 263 model, the first of which is expected to be launched in the first half of 2020 while the second will be ready before the end of the year. Construction will commence on a 67m/219.8ft luxury yacht and an 85m/278.9ft luxury yacht before the end of Q1 2020.
