The 40th edition of the Palm Beach International Boat Show (PBIBS) ran from the 24th to the 27th of March, showcasing an extensive collection of luxury yachts, lifestyle products and more, over four days.
For 2022 there were 475 exhibitors and 363 boats of various sizes, plus 22 seminars ranging in topics from fishing tips, fire safety & theft prevention, and local efforts to protect the biodiversity of the region.
Westport Yachts was well represented at the event, with five different models from the shipyard on display. Other notable shipyards in attendance included Heesen with luxury yacht ODYSSEA, Sanlorenzo with the SX88 and SD96, Sunseeker with several models, and Rosetti Superyachts with superyacht EMOCEAN.
CharterWorld are media partner to the PBIBS, and broker Martha Lukasik had this to say about the event:
“[PBIBS] never disappoints! It was a spectacular display of yachts including a great selection of superyachts available for charter: I viewed several mega yachts that still have some weeks open for the upcoming summer charter season in the Mediterranean.”
“The show was filled with positive energy and enthusiasm, and it always reminds me a bit of the Cannes Boat Show vibe and atmosphere, where the yachts to view in the marina are surrounded by upscale boutiques, restaurants, galleries, artistic and antique furnishings as well as a dedicated jewellery exhibit, providing something for every interest.”
The next edition of PBIBS is scheduled for 2023.
