Lynx Yachts has announced the second model in its Adventure series, the ADVENTURE 29 explorer yacht, with joins the ADVENTURE 32 expedition yacht.
The series takes inspiration from the YXT series from the shipyard and features the exterior styling of Bernd Weel Design.
Current concept images show a sturdy pale blue steel hull complemented by a white aluminium superstructure, all of which makes use of extensive floor-to-ceiling glazing and horizontal lines. The ADVENTURE 29 is designed to be able to endure any weather and visit remote locations, as indicated in her shallow draft of only 1.95m/6.4ft, her high bulwarks and plumb bow, while simultaneously offering guests the utmost luxury on board.
The main deck provides the primary interior social area in the open-plan salon and formal dining area, the latter placed forward to be close to the port-side wet bar. Full-height windows benefit both the dining area and the salon area aft, which places a large sofa and a coffee table to each side of the room.
Outside, the main deck aft creates a comfortable alfresco lounge for the whole group with sofa seating along the stern combined with armchairs and a drinks table. The lower swim platform stores the tender while cruising, and guests have easy access to the area via two illuminated staircases. On the foredeck, two large C-shaped sofas encompass the alfresco dining table in front of the bridge, and guests can savour the views over a delicious three-course meal.
The sundeck shows a large forward Jacuzzi with sun pads plus a swim-up bar behind. An alfresco dining table to seat eight sits in the shade beneath the hardtop, while behind three sofas and drinks tables create a casual setting on the stern for unwinding with sweeping views.
The guest accommodation sleeps a maximum of 8 guests over 4 en-suite cabins: 1 Master suite amidships on the lower deck containing a walk-in wardrobe, lounge area and desk, 2 double cabins convertible to twins farther forward and 1 VIP stateroom with desk and room for a lounge just behind the bow, where the crew accommodation and mess is located.
The ADVENTURE 29 explorer yacht is capable of a top speed of 13 knots, a cruising speed of 11 knots and an economical speed of 10 knots, at which she is capable of a range of 2,400 nautical miles.
