Overmarine Group has announced the sale of the first MANGUSTA GRANSPORT 45 luxury yacht from the aluminium fast displacement line.
Designed by Alberto Mancini, the MANGUSTA GRANSPORT 45 was unveiled recently at the autumn boat shows and concept images show popular features such as a large beach club with bulwarks that fold down to become sea terraces. The main deck aft has a comfortable lounge comprised of a love seat and sofa-chaise. Glazed sides ensure excellent privacy and shelter from the elements while transitioning between the exterior and interior social areas.
The flybridge also progresses from an interior protected front to an exposed aft with a drinks table, sofas lining the sides and sun beds along the stern. In addition, guests can refresh themselves in the glass-sided Jacuzzi on the foredeck with sunpads on either side to dry off and a sofa curving around a drinks table for uninterrupted forward views. Skylights in the bow illuminate the Master suite bathroom below for comfortable natural lighting.
Cut-out sections on the main deck forward reveal more fold-down terraces, most likely adjacent to the formal dining area in the salon and creating private terraces off the master suite.
Three MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines produce a top speed of 26 knots, a cruising speed of 20 knots with a range of 1,000 nautical miles. At an economical 11 knots, the MANGUSTA GRANSPORT 45 has a range of 3,500 nautical miles to complete transatlantic journeys.
Delivery of the first MANGUSTA GRANSPORT 45 is expected in 2019.
