Mangusta has announced the launch of a fourth hull in the Mangusta Maxi Open 110 series from the Viareggio shipyard on the 25th of February.
The well-proportioned open yacht balances forward and aft exterior living spaces, placing an alfresco dining area and sunbeds on the foredeck and a spacious exterior lounge and more formal alfresco dining area to the aft. Inside, the salon boasts a wet bar, lounge and formal dining area surrounded on all sides by windows or glass sliding doors for the little-to-no difference between outdoor and indoor natural lighting.
Sleek and sporty, the Mangusta 110 matches performance to her appearance and comes equipped with a pair of MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines, producing 2,600 HP for a top speed in excess of 33 knots and fuel-efficient economy cruising also an option. Waterjet propulsion ensures no vibrations or noise while cruising for greater guest comfort in the cabins, particularly overnight. A draft of just 1.7m/5.6ft ensures that she is able to cruise through shallow waterways and anchor close to the best beaches in the Mediterranean. A Dynamic Positioning System keeps the yacht from changing position while at anchor, and gyroscopic stabilisers create exceptional stability even in the roughest of sea conditions.
The Owner requested acclaimed Netherlands-based designer Piet Boon to complete the interiors in collaboration with the shipyard’s in-house Design & Decoration Office, creating a fully custom luxury yacht in-line with the Owner’s vision and requirements.
