The Overmarine Group is proud to announce that it has sold the second MANGUSTA OCEANO 42 superyacht, made of steel and aluminium, and belonging to the Long Range series. Spreading 42 metres, the yacht was penned up by Alberto Mancini and boasts stunningly modern, elegant decor with sharp, taut lines combined with softer sections.
Mancini’s aim was to create a vessel which would allow her guests to fully experience the sea, creating as little barriers as possible between the Owners and guests, and their surrounding environment. Great outdoors are the main focal point of the yacht, boasting huge windows in the saloon for plenty of natural light, and other glazed transparencies in other areas increasing the perception of space.
The second Mangusta 42 features a careful combination of design elements, a profound study of the lighting system and new concepts for this kind of yacht. The exterior deck area at the bow has been designed with two separate spaces flowing into a swimming pool with an infinity effect waterfall. The bottom of the swimming pool is glazed and provides natural light to the owner’s head situated on the deck below. Astern the hatch opens up to create a platform over the sea featuring a specially furnished beach area.
From the technical aspect, the Mangusta 42 will be constructed with great attention to comfort, noise levels, stability and the use of the latest generation technologies and materials.
Accommodation layout includes suites for up to twelve guests and seven crew members onboard, while offering complete privacy and freedom of movement. The yacht is due to be launched in 2017.
