The Caribbean yachting season has come to an end and where else for superyacht crews to refuel, re-provision and rejuvenate than conveniently docked within an alongside berth at The Marina at Christophe Harbour, nestled in the lovely Caribbean yacht charter location – St. Kitts. In-slip bunkering is now available and with duty free fuelling makes for a regionally competitive option for even the most astute yachtsman. The superyacht marina’s central location coupled with easy access and flexible hours is already proving popular with owners and captains alike.
The Marina at Christophe Harbour is the only one of its kind within the region and is attracting superyachts who appreciate the added options the facility presents when planning itineraries. Christophe Harbour’s marina team have worked to ensure the marina provides services which not only work well for yachts in-harbour, but for those seeking to start or end a luxury yacht charter or owner cruises.
Combined with a nearby premier private jet terminal, the facility opens opportunities for yachts in the region to complete their season’s cruising and prepare and refuel for the coming season.
Christophe Harbour Director of Yachting Aeneas Hollins says demand for refuelling services has already been significant.
“Large yacht fuelling was occurring in low numbers at both Port Zante in St. Kitts and Long Point in Nevis prior to this, but having duty free fuel in-berth in a dedicated, purpose-built large yacht marina holds great appeal for the fleet.”
The Marina at Christophe Harbour was officially launched in February with a wide access channel, 24 alongside berths from 45-65 meters, state of the art shoreside equipment and knowledgeable, helpful service from an experienced team. Three nights of complimentary dockage is available for vessels measuring 100’-300’ (30-90metres) in the Marina’s inaugural season.
The Marina at Christophe Harbour is part of the larger resort community that features luxury single-family real estate properties and a members-only club. The Caribbean’s first Park Hyatt hotel and future Tom Fazio golf course are under construction.
