The Marina Course on the Gold Coast is currently attended by a record number of 28 participants, who are attending the 4,5 day Intermediate Marina Management (IMM) course, being held in Queensland.
This is a record attendance for this course conducted for marina managers, manufacturers, contractors, consultants and service partners. Participants have travelled from around Australia as well as from New Zealand and Fiji.
The course is being conducted by the Marina Industries Association (MIA) and it is approved by the Global Marina Institute (GMI). The course is being delivered by recognised marina and industry professionals including Steve Sammes CMM from Gold Coast City Marina; Ben Schooley CMO from The Boatyard in Brisbane; Tim Smith and Jason Hunt from McInnes Wilson Lawyers; consultant Jean-Paul Mira CMM; Greg Price from Superior and Jonathon Dyer from the National Retail Association.
The course focuses on operations, policies and procedures in the marina industry and exposes participants to innovative ways of dealing with issues and challenges.
