The Camper & Nicholsons Marinas ‘1782 Club‘ continues to grow, with the announcement that Marina and Yacht Service Centre Trogir, a beautiful Croatia yacht charter location, has become a new member marina.
Marina and Yacht Service Centre Trogir lies close to Split on Croatia’s Dalmatian Coast and, having commenced operation in the summer of 2014, currently provides 133 berths for yachts up to 60m – with ambitious plans for further expansion over the next four years.
Just 25 minutes from Split city centre, ten minutes from the international airport, and two minutes from the old town of Trogir, the marina and service centre is perfectly placed as a base from which to explore this world-renowned cruising area. And the historic town of Trogir, with origins dating back to the 3rd century BC, is itself a UNESCO World Heritage site.
In addition to catering for yachts afloat, Marina Trogir also boasts one of the most comprehensive maintenance and refit facilities in the Adriatic – if not the whole Mediterranean basin. The Service Centre has been established for many years and can accommodate vessels of all sizes, with a dry dock capable of dealing with superyachts up to 8,500 tons.
Kurt Fraser, sales and marketing director for Camper & Nicholsons Marinas, welcomed Marina Trogir to the 1782 Club network, saying, “this is a superyacht facility that can compare favourably with the riviera’s finest, and it’s situated in one of the most stunning cruising areas anywhere in the world. As with all our 1782 Club members, Marina Trogir displays a commitment to the highest levels of customer service, which is no less than what our customers and theirs are entitled to expect.”
On a recent tour of the marina and service centre, Camper & Nicholsons International’s director of charter marketing, Sacha Williams, observed that Marina Trogir is ideally located for superyacht chartering in the Adriatic. “The quick and easy access via Split is a big plus,” she said, “and the shipyard facilities offer an impressive alternative to the refit yards of France and Spain.
Phase 2 of Marina and Yacht Service Centre Trogir’s development plan will be completed in 2015, with the expansion of capacity to 256 berths afloat and space for 120 yachts ashore. The final phase is due for completion in 2018 and will see the addition of a dedicated superyacht facility to accommodate up to 30 superyachts of 50m to 100m LOA.
