Mazu 82 flagship superyacht is nearing completion at the Turkish shipyard. Mazu Yachts reported that the outfitting stage is half completed, engines are installed and teak decking completed. The construction process is currently on schedule with delivery in 2020.
This 24.5m yacht features exterior profile by Halit Yukay, the founder of Mazu Yachts. Motor yacht Mazu 82 is being built with a carbon composite light-weight hull.
The interior is described as “understated and elegant” by Turkish designer Tanju Ozelgin. While the atmosphere is comfortable and inviting, the luxurious styling creates a feeling of being “at home or in a nice hotel”.
Three staterooms provide accommodation for up to 6 guests. The full-beam owner’s cabin is located amidships, while A VIP cabin is forward and a double stateroom is off the passageway.
Powered with two Volvo Penta IPS 1350 1000hp engines, Mazu 82 will have a cruising speed of 35 knots and a top speed of 40 knots.
