Set to take place in the China’s Nansha Marina from October 10 to 13, the Yacht CN 2013 – Nansha Bay International Boat Show will feature luxury yacht Adastra. Launched by McConaghy Boats in Zhuhai, China, in April 2012, motor yacht Adastra is a sleek and highly innovative 42,5-metre trimaran. Her striking and futuristic design is a result of more than five years of cooperation between the Owner, the naval architects/exterior designer John Shuttleworth Design Ltd, as well as the interior designers Jepson Designs and the shipyard.
McConaghy superyacht Adastra boasts luxurious and comfortable accommodation for 9 guests in total, looked after by a professional crew of 6 members. Thanks to her 16-metre beam, she offers a very spacious saloon on the main deck, which also provides a generous lounge, dinning table, as well as the navigation station. She has a 4,9-metre tender stored on the aft deck and a 3,1-metre tender stored in the garage.
The second largest vessel of its kind in the world, the 42,5-metre luxury yacht Adastra can be controlled from an iPad. She is equipped with one main Caterpillar C18 1150ho @2300 rpm engine and twin Yanmar 110hp @ 3200 rpm outrigger engines. Her top speed is 22,5 knots and she has a 4000 nautical miles range at a lower speed of 17 knots.
